Your bookcase can do double-duty as a shoerack (if you are like me and have a million pairs of shoes) and a place to hold your books. Just add one of those dollar store bubble lights (those really cheap ones that you smack to turn on) to the bottom of a shelf and Viola! Lighted bookshelf-shoerack.
